Current technological evolution requires new professional skills for business management, such as:
The concept of business management is a very wide one and therefore the training of managers must embrace such diverse areas as the Organisation and Management of Companies, Statistics and Operational Research, Information Technology and Organisational Engineering.
This Master tries to provide an integrated perspective on how to operate in a changing, globalized and highly competitive environment in the era of the Information Society.
Through the aquisition of techniques and tools, both qualitative and quantative, the aim is to train directors capable of increasing productivity and competitiveness in their organizations.
It is mainly directed at working professionals, Engineers, and graduates from the areas of Basic and Technical Sciences and Economics and Business Administration. Organised by the Department of Statistics and Operational Research at the University of Valencia, the following departments also participate in the teaching:
The “Juan José Renau Piqueras” Department of Business Management; Mathematics for the Economy and Business; Accountancy; Information Technology at the University of Valencia; The Department of Statistics and Operational Research and the Department of Business Organisation at the Politechnic University of Valencia; the Centre for Operational Research at the Miguel Hernández University, Elche; the Institute of Information Technology and the FORD Motor Company, Spain.
